Dennis L. Langerman, 63, of rural Fredericksburg and formerly of Fayette died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at his home.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Fayette with Rev. Mee Kang officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, at Becker-Milnes Funeral home in Fayette and for one hour preceding services at the church on Tuesday. Inurnment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Fayette. Memorials may be made to the family.
Dennis Lee Langerman, son of Willard and Dorothy (Bentley) Langerman, was born September 1, 1951, at Fayette, Iowa. He graduated from Fayette High School in 1959, and attended Upper Iowa University. He lived in Chicago and Oklahoma, before returning home to Iowa.
Dennis was a respected welder for Featherlite Trailers in Cresco, Iowa for twenty-seven years. He was a NRA advocate, and MOPAR fan, with a love of racing. Dennis was an avid outdoorsman enjoying photography, gardening, and hunting.
Dennis is survived by his mother, Dorothy Langerman of Fayette; his brother, Doug and wife, Mary Langerman of Williamsburg, Iowa; nephew Ryan Langerman of Sioux City; and niece, Megan Langerman-Lee of Orlando, Florida; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Langerman, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
